Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

Refer to Fig. 4 and check clutch pedal height. Clutch pedal height should be 6.57-6.97 inch on 1984-85 models and 6.73-7.13 inch on 1986-88
models. If specified clutch pedal height cannot be obtained, loosen locknut and turn adjusting bolt until specified clutch pedal height is obtained.

After correct clutch pedal height is obtained, tighten locknut.

Refer to Fig. 4 and check clutch pedal freeplay. Depress clutch pedal until clutch resistance is obtained, then measure clutch pedal freeplay. Clutch
pedal freeplay should be .20-.59 inch.

Check clutch cylinder pushrod play at top of pedal. Play should be .039-.197 inch.
