Required Tools & Equipment

Repair Procedure

1. Inspect the transaxle to determine if the transaxle case plug is installed.

Is the plug missing?

^

YES - Proceed to step 2.

^

NO - This TSB does NOT apply. Proceed with diagnosis of the ATF leak.

2. Install the missing transaxle case plug.

3. Adjust the ATF level.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

2010 Camry:
Drivetrain - Automatic Transmission/Transaxle - "U760E Automatic Transaxle: Automatic Transaxle Fluid: Adjustment"

2009 Venza:
Drivetrain - Automatic Transmission/Transaxle - "U760E / U760F Automatic Transaxle:
Automatic Transaxle Fluid: Adjustment"

4. Test drive the vehicle to confirm the repair.
