Installation

U760F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TCM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TCM

(a) Install the TCM to the transaxle.

(b) Install and tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque: 11 Nm (115 kgf-cm, 8ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector to the TCM.
(d) Turn the lock lever and secure the connector with the lock lever.

2. INSTALL BATTERY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation
3. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. PERFORM TCM REGISTRATION
