Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Rear Door): REMOVAL

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system    See: Restraint
Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL   See: Service

and Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

11. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a T25 "TORX" driver, remove the 3 screws and the rear power window regulator motor assembly.
