Removal

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR   See: Grille/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Grille/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY   See: Lighting and Horns/Horn/Service and Repair/High Pitched Horn/Removal

5. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY   See: Hood Latch Release Cable/Service and Repair/Removal

6. REMOVE SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH

(a) Remove the spring.

(b) Remove the spring.

(c) Disengage the clamp and remove the 2 screws and security courtesy switch.
