Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair
Removal

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VSC OFF SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

5. REMOVE VSC OFF SWITCH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the VSC OFF switch.
