Removal

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: REAR SPEED SENSOR (for AWD): REMOVAL

HINT

Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

*

The following procedure is for the LH side.

*

If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the rear drive shaft assembly.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected

2. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

5. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

6. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
