Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair
Removal

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR   See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE   See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the clamp to remove the ambient temperature sensor.
