Torque : 2.4 Nm (25 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

6. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH WIRE

7. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH   See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Switch/Service and Repair/Installation

8. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL DAMPER

(a) Install the steering wheel damper to the steering wheel sub-assembly.

(b) Install the 2 screws.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (25 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

9. TURN FRONT WHEELS TO FACE STRAIGHT AHEAD

10. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair/Installation

11. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft.

Text in Illustration

(b) Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.

Torque : 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 37 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the connectors to the spiral cable sub-assembly.
