Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Front Door): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

HINT:
-

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

-

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system

NOTICE:  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver

4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger

12. REMOVE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a T25 "TORX" driver, remove the 3 screws and the front power window regulator motor assembly.
