Removal

BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): BRAKE PEDAL: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the instructions for Removal of the brake booster assembly    See: Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake Booster/Service and
Repair/Removal.

2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ HID Headlight System)   See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp Alignment

Control Module/Service and Repair/Headlight Leveling ECU/Removal

3. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY   See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER

5. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and brake pedal support assembly from the instrument panel reinforcement.

Installation

BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): BRAKE PEDAL: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the brake pedal support assembly to the instrument panel reinforcement with the bolt.
