Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR

(a) Install the 4 sensors with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 sensor connectors.

2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and

Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair

5. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Testing and Inspection

6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation

8. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Installation

9. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Strut / Shock

Absorber/Service and Repair/Front Shock Absorber/Installation

10. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Front Wiper

Motor/Installation.

11. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
