Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
from the vehicle's in-service date.

Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Parts Information

TSB Overview

This TSB provides instructions to install a net over the air inlet damper. The net will prevent objects inside the vehicle from entering the blower housing
unit.

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the blower motor.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model year Yaris Repair Manual:

2007 / 2008 / 2009 / 2010 Yaris:
Vehicle Interior - Heating/Air Conditioning - "Air Conditioning: Blower Motor: Removal"

2. Inspect the blower motor for evidence of foreign objects or debris.

If foreign objects or debris are noticed in the blower motor remove debris or foreign object reinstall the blower motor verify proper operation and
continue to step 3.

If NO foreign objects or debris is noticed in the blower motor investigate the root cause of the blower motor noise and vibration replace as
necessary and continue to step 3.

3. Remove the glove box.
