Introduction
Some customers may complain of a noise or a slight vibration when operating the blower motor due to foreign objects or debris in the blower unit.
Follow the repair procedure in this TSB to correct this condition.

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
Repair Procedure
1.
Remove the blower motor.
Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), 2007 model year Yaris Repair Manual, Vehicle Interior - Heating/Air Conditioning - "Air
Conditioning: Blower Motor: Removal".
2.
Inspect the blower motor for evidence of foreign objects or debris.

If foreign objects or debris are noticed in the blower motor, remove debris or foreign object, reinstall the blower motor, verify proper
operation, and continue to step 3.

If NO foreign objects or debris is noticed in the blower motor, investigate the root cause of the blower motor noise and vibration, replace as
necessary, and continue to step 3.
3.
Remove the glove box.

Removal".
