Hazard Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection
Hazard Warning Switch (For Hatchback)
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH
a. Check the resistance.
1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table given.
If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch.
b. Check the illumination operation.
1. Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination
illuminates.
Standard: Illumination illuminates.
If the illumination does not illuminate, replace the hazard warning signal switch.
