7. REMOVE STRUT MOUNTING BEARING

(a)

Using a brass bar and press, remove the strut mounting bearing from the upper coil spring seat.

INSPECTION 

1. INSPECT FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER

(a)

Compress and extend the shock absorber rod and check that there is no abnormal resistance or abnormal sound during the operation.
If there is any abnormality, replace the shock absorber with a new one.

NOTICE:  When disposing of the shock absorber, see DISPOSAL.

REASSEMBLY 

1. INSTALL STRUT MOUNTING BEARING

(a)

Using a brass bar and press, install the strut mounting bearing onto the coil spring seat upper. 

NOTICE:  The strut mounting bearing must be securely installed.
