Left Wheel Well Inner Panelling

 

Vehicles:

 

Astra - F with Automatic Transmission

 

Condition:

 

Load alterations when driving cause the front edge of the wheel well inner panelling to chafe on the transmission cover.

 

Remedy:

 

During the next workshop visit / next Annual Inspection, check the transmission cover for chafing / scrapes. It necessary, shorten wheel well inner panelling.

 

 

Raise vehicle in regulation fashion.

 

Bend wheel well inner panelling back slightly from transmission cover when cutting.

Shorten front edge of wheel well inner panelling according to mark with sheet - metal shears.
