REPLACE ECU

-

·  Deployment transistors inside control unit defective

     or

     Electronic acceleration sensor within control unit defective

·  Above conditions must be fulfilled for 0.5 to 15 s

 

Note:

The control unit can recognize further internal control unit faults which lead to trouble code 55 being stored. However, this sort of fault also simultaneously prevents communication between the control unit and TECH 1.

 

If trouble code 55 was recognized, the airbag telltale is switched on.
