Front Seat Upholstery, Remove and Install or Replace
Remove, Disconnect
Remove front seat - see operation "Front seat, remove and install". Before removing the seat, it is important to insert the retaining fork fastened to the energy store in the opening provided in the seat belt tensioner - see operation "Seat belt tensioner, remove and install or replace".
Remove front seat backrest - see operation "Front Seat Backrest, Remove and Install". Separate wiring harness plug for seat heating (if present). Unstitch upholstery from below.
Important!
Protect removed seat from vibrations due to seat belt tensioner!
Remove, Disconnect
Upholstery with cushion from seat frame.
Remove, Disconnect
Seat area circlips, upholstery from cushion.
Install, Connect
Upholstery on cushion, seat area circlips. Fasten upholstery below. Front seat backrest on front seat. Connect wiring harness plug for seat heating (if present). Front seat.
Remove, Disconnect

Install, Connect
