Lettering, Emblems
As of Model Year 1995, all models are fitted with new lettering and emblems on the tailgate/luggage compartment lid.
The lettering is completely chromed and self-adhesive.
The following views shown in illustration F 0474 indicate the positions for the body external lettering.
The lower reference edge is: For models 53-B, 56, 57, the lower edge of the luggage compartment lid; for models 53, 58, 59, the lower edge of the tailgate; for models 51, 52, 55, the upper edge of the tailgate swage line.
The dimensions shown apply regardless of the different types of lettering.
As of Model Year 1995, all models are fitted with new emblems on the tailgate and luggage compartment lid.
The new emblems differ in size and appearance from the old version. As of Model Year 1995, they are, as shown in illustration F 0474 at 1-1, 2-2 and 3-3, no longer attached to the embossed surface.
· Service
The emblems are as before cemented to the surface. The emblems can be exactly positioned using the positioning pins and holes.
