Filler Valve and/or Pressure Lines, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Blow out fill valve with air  

Remove luggage compartment floor covering. Remove retaining sleeve from filling valve. Compress tabs (arrows) and press filling valve downwards.   Remove pressure lines from filling valve and shock absorber. Remove pressure lines from retaining clamps at vehicle underbody.     Install, Connect

Pressure line connections at shock absorber and insert line in retaining clamps at vehicle underbody - note installation position.   Connect pressure line connections to filling valve. Insert filling valve in bore hole at vehicle underbody and allow to engage. Connect retaining sleeve to filling valve.   Fill the unit with 8 bar overpressure and check for leakage with leak search spray. Reduce the overpressure to 0.8 bar or the appropriate working pressure - see operation "Set Level Regulation".
