Rear Springs and/or Damping Rings of Rear Springs, Remove and Install  

For vehicles with level regulation blow out the fill valve with air.     Remove, Disconnect    Support the outrigger with the hydraulic lift and remove the shock absorber from the outrigger. (1 = Estate/Delivery van, 2 = Saloon). Allow the hydraulic lift to sink, so that the spring with damping rings can be taken out.     Install, Connect

Install rear spring with damping rings in spring seat, pressing rear axle downwards. Note installation position!   Lift outrigger. Screw on shock absorber to outrigger - tightening torque 70 Nm/52 lbf. ft. (Saloon) 12 Nm/9 lbf. ft. (Estate/Delivery Van).   For vehicles with level regulation: Fill the unit to 0.8 bar and then correct for each loading condition - see operation "Set Level Regulation".
