· Monitoring is
activated as soon as the vehicle reference speed is > 12 km/h (7 mph) or a
filtered wheel speed > 10 km/h (6 mph) is present
· The fault is
recognized if the vehicle reference speed is > 12 km/h (7 mph) after the
vehicle drives off for the first time, while the speed of the rear right
wheel remains approx. 0 km/h (0 mph)
or
· if the vehicle
reference speed is > 20 km/h (12.5 mph) after the vehicle drives off each

travelling, at least one filtered wheel speed is > 10 km/h (6 mph), while
the speed of the rear right wheel remains approx. 0 km/h (0 mph) for more
than 20 s
or
· if the wheel speed
is > 40 km/h (25 mph) and no signal flanks are registered within 2 cycles.
On fault recognition, the ABS is switched off and the ABS
