Brake Disc, Precision Turning  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove relevant wheel.  

Object Number: 616197  Size: DEFAULT  Measure   

Check the upper surface of the brake disc for smoothnes. Measure the thickness of the brake disc with MKM-230-A - see "Technical Data - Disc brakes".  

Object Number: 616201  Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

Always precision turn both discs on one axle. Before starting, note manufacturer's instructions!  

Machine the rear brake discs first on the left side. The brake disc lathe on the right side is turned through 180 °, so that the adjustment of the left side can be undertaken.  

Machine the front brake discs first on the right side. The brake disc lathe the left side is turned through 180 °, so that the adjustment of the right side can be undertaken.  

 

 

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Unbolt relevant brake calliper and detach - see operation "Brake Calliper - Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install" or "Brake Calliper - Rear Wheel Brake, Remove and Install" (brake system remains closed).  

For the machining of the front brake discs the brake anchor plate must also be removed. On the left side of the vehicle the lathe (1) has to be 180 ° turned through.  

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Bolt on relevant brake calliper - see operation "Brake Calliper - Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install" or "Brake Calliper - Rear Wheel Brake, Remove and Install".
