Detach lower radiator hose from radiator - collect coolant. Detach coolant hose (1) from thermostat housing. Disconnect wiring harness plugs (2) and (3) from coolant temperature sender and from coolant temperature sensor. Remove heat shield from performance header. Remove thermostat housing from cylinder head. Clean sealing surfaces and remove sealant remnants.
 Install, Connect Attach thermostat housing to cylinder head with new seal ring - 15 Nm/
11 lbf. ft. Attach heat shield to performance header. Connect wiring harness plug to coolant temperature sensor and coolant temperature pickup. Install or connect fan hoses. Cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top Up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks". |
