Upper Idle Speed, Check and Adjust  

Engine at operating temperature (oil temperature ≥ 80 ° C/176 ° F).  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Mark crankshaft pulley with 1 to 2 cm/0.4 to 0.8 in. wide piece of aluminium foil (arrow). Full throttle and measure engine speed with photo-electric rev counter.  

Object Number: 616198 Size: DEFAULT  Adjust   

Remove seal. Release locknut (1) and adjust end stop screw (2) accordingly. Upper idling speed 5200 min -1 .  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

After adjustment, secure stop screw with lock nut and apply lead seal (3).
