Mechanical Injection System General Repair Instructions Ensure absolute cleanliness during all operations on fuel system. Clean the area around the repair zone - e.g. before detaching lines, switches, etc. Place removed parts on clean ground only and cover with water vapour barrier - do not use frayed rags.
- Mask opened lines or components immediately or close off with closure plugs - do not work with compressed air. - Only install clean parts. - New replacement parts should only be removed from their packaging immediately before installation. - Do not allow diesel fuel to come into contact with coolant hoses - if necessary, rinse off immediately with water.
