Table 1 - TECH 1 Checking

 

TECH 1 refers to table 1, if the equipment is correctly connected, but no data (with ignition ON) can be received by TECH 1.

 

·   Start TECH 1 self-test (see TECH 1 Operating Instructions).

 

If data can still not be received after the self-test:

 

-        Diagnostic plug (ALDL)

-        Engine telltale

-        Control unit voltage supply

-        Control unit ground connection

 

are to be checked according to Table 1.
