MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR VOLTAGE HIGH

·   Engine speed < 6520 rpm

·   The control unit receives a signal > 435.2 kg/h from the mass air flow sensor

     (short circuit to battery voltage)

 

If trouble code 74 was recognized, the control unit calculates for the load signal with a replacement characteristic curve dependent on the engine speed and throttle valve position.

If the throttle valve potentiometer is also defective, the following replacement values are used for calculation:

For engine speed < 1520 rpm with load signal = 2.5 ms

For engine speed > 1520 rpm with load signal = 4.8 ms
