BATTERY VOLTAGE = Battery voltage (voltage supply for control unit)
TPS SIGNAL = Signal from throttle valve potentiometer
SIM. IDLE POS.SW = Idle position of throttle valve potentiometer
SIM. FULL POS.SW = Full load position of throttle valve potentiometer
INTAKE AIR TEMP. = Intake air temperature
COOLANT TEMP. = Coolant temperature
MASS AIR FLOW S. = Hot film mass air flow meter signal
ENGINE LOAD SIG. = Engine load in ms calculated from hot film mass air flow meter signal
KNOCK SIGNAL = Signal from knock sensor when knock occurs
VARIANT CODING = Variant coding (engine speed increase of 100 rpm)
HALL SENSOR = Hall sensor on camshaft
VEHICLE SPEED = Prepared signal from odometer frequency sensor
VEHICLE SP.PULSE = Signal from odometer frequency sensor
A/C INFORMAT. SW = Air conditioning switch
A/C COMPRESS. SW = Air conditioning compressor
PARK/NEUTRAL SW. = Prepared Park/Neutral switch signal from transmission control
TORQUE CONTROL = Shift signal from transmission control
FULL LOAD INHIB. = TC (Traction Control) active signal from TC (Traction Control) system
IGN./INJ. CUTOFF = Ignition/injection cutoff signal from TC (Traction Control) system
IGN. COIL CYL1+4 = Ignition coil unit, cylinders 1 and 4
IGN. COIL CYL2+3 = Ignition coil unit, cylinders 2 and 3 (C 20 XE only)
IGN. COIL CYL2+5 = Ignition coil unit, cylinders 2 and 5 (C 25 XE only)
IGN. COIL CYL3+6 = Ignition coil unit, cylinders 3 and 6 (C 25 XE only)
ENGINE LOAD SIG. = Prepared signal from throttle valve potentiometer

A/C CUTOFF RELAY = Air conditioning cutoff relay for air conditioning compressor cutoff

DESIRED IDLE = Nominal engine speed in idle operation
ENGINE SPEED = Actual engine speed in idle operation
DESIRED AIR IDLE = Nominal air throughput in idle operation (from characteristic map)
ACTUAL AIR IDLE = Actual air throughput in idle operation (from mass air flow meter signal)
IAC INTEGRATOR = Integrator value of idle speed adjuster
IAC ADAPT. SLOPE = Deviation of idle speed adjuster pulse ratio from value calculated by control unit
IAC BL °CK LEARN = Learned value of idle speed adjuster
O2 SENSOR LOOP = Open/closed loop via oxygen sensor
O2 SENSOR = Oxygen sensor voltage in mV
O2 INTEGRATOR = Integrator value of mixture - (O2) - correction
O2 BLM IDLE THR. = Learned mixture characteristic map at idle speed
O2 BLM PART THR. = Learned mixture characteristic map in partial load range
SPARK ADVANCE = Firing angle BTDC calculated by control unit
KNOCK RETARD = Cylinder ignition timing adjustment when knock occurs
