Tank Vent Valve, Remove and Install (M 2.5, M 2.8)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Detach wiring harness plug and vacuum hoses from tank vent valve.  

Close off vacuum hose (1) to activated carbon canister.  

Press in lug (2) with screwdriver and remove tank vent valve from bracket.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Object Number: 2388573 Size: DEFAULT

Press back lug on tank vent valve bracket towards transmission side, slide tank vent valve onto bracket and engage.  

Attach wiring harness plug and vacuum hoses to tank vent valve.  

Object Number: 2388570 Size: DEFAULT
