Cause of fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

·   Ignition ON

·   Using multimeter, measure voltage:

     from:       X13 diagnostic plug Ter. B

     to:           ground

higher than 11 volts

·   Short circuit to ground or circuit interruption:

     from:       X13 diagnostic plug Ter. B

     to:           K57 wiring harness plug for engine control unit Ter. B9

·   K57 engine control unit defective

·   Check according to table 1.
