Press key F8 in the system main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Engine speed can be regulated between 650 rpm and 1800 rpm

Note:

In this control mode, TECH 1 specifies the idle speed that is to be maintained to the control unit.

The engine speed can be set to a fixed value using the arrow keys. In addition, the YES and NO keys can be used to display the various data list parameters. Using the F9 key, it is possible to store data as in the snapshot mode.

This mode should be used when it appears necessary to evaluate the various engine parameters (e.g. O2 INTEGRATOR or INJECTION PULSE) at a fixed / increased idle speed, or when it is to be determined whether the idle speed adjuster operates smoothly and without sticking over the entire opening range.
