SELECT ACTUATOR FUEL TANK VENT.

This test can be carried out under two operating conditions: "Ignition ON, engine OFF" and "engine running at idle speed. " The first part of the test should be carried out if the engine cannot be started; otherwise the second part ensures certain diagnosis.

Engine OFF

Press F5 key in the system main menu, select the desired test with the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Note:

The controlled canister purge valve is actuated at a frequency of 0.5 Hz.

The test is completed after a maximum of 30 s.
