|
|
· Disconnect
plug from exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve Y18. Ignition On.
Using multimeter,
measure voltage at wiring plug of Y18 to ground
- to Ter. 1
|
greater than 11.5 V
|
Omega - B
· Lead
interruption from control unit K69 / Ter. 46 or from reverse battery
protection relay K42 / Ter. 8 (Ter. 87) to exhaust gas recirculation
solenoid valve Y18 / Ter. 1
Vectra / Cavalier, Calibre:
· Lead
interruption from control unit K69 / Ter. 46 or from fuel pump relay
K68 / Ter. 8 (Ter. 87) to exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve
Y18 / Ter. 1

· Ignition
Off. Disconnect wiring harness plug from control unit K69. ignition On.
Using multimeter, check
connection between wiring harness plug K69 / Ter. 42 and exhaust gas
recirculation solenoid valve plug Y18 / Ter. 2

to ground,
- for short circuit
to + battery voltage
