X 20 XEV engine:

 

670 to 1030 rpm

 

 

 

 

Note:

The nominal idle speed, and therefore also the actual idle speed, of this engine system can be altered in several increments in the range permitted by the General Operating Permit, approx. 700 to 1000 rpm (C 18 XE / C 18 XEL) or 670 to 1030 rpm (X 20 XEV), by reprogramming the control unit with TECH 1.

Carry out the corresponding TECH 1 adjustment (sect. 2.1.5.1).

At present, vehicles are supplied ex works with the idle speeds given in test step 21.
