Crankcase ventilation hose - Chafes at hose clamp of pressure

Crankcase ventilation hose can chafe at hose clamp of pressure regulator.

 

Cause:

Position of clamp lock.

 

Production Solution:

 

Special part:

No

 

Remedy:

Crankcase ventilation hose chafes at hose clamp of pressure regulator

 

Rotate clamp lock about 180°, see illus . 1 and 2.

The angle (A) of the clamp lock has to be 45° + /- 10° when mounted.

 

If the crankcase ventilation hose is visibly damaged it has to be replaced.
