Cylinder Head, Disassemble and Assemble
 Remove, Disconnect Remove cylinder head - see operation "Cylinder Head, Remove and Install". Remove hydraulic valve lifter - lay in installation position. Remove all attaching parts from cylinder head. Mark valves for identification. Tension valve springs with KM-348 (1). Remove valve keepers, upper valve spring plate, valve springs. Remove valves, remove valve stem seals with KM-840. Remove valve spacer rings (2 - exhaust), lower valve spring plate (3 - intake).
 Clean Clean sealing surfaces and remove sealant remnants. |

 Inspect Check sealing surfaces for evenness. Check guides, lubricating and bearing points for wear - see operation "Cylinder Head, Overhaul".
 Install, Connect Coat valves with engine oil and insert in cylinder head. Install valve spacer rings (1 - exhaust), lower valve spring plate (2 - intake). Insert new valve stem seal (3) with KM-352 (5). Drive valve stem seal CAREFULLY in to stop with LIGHT hammer blows. |

Install, Connect Install valve springs and valve spring cap. Tension valve springs with KM-348 (1) and insert valve keepers.
 Important! Note markings made on valves.
Install, Connect Coat hydraulic valve lifter with oil and insert in cylinder head - note installation position. Install all attaching parts at cylinder head. Install cylinder head - see operation "Cylinder Head, Remove and Install". |
