Auxiliary Aggregates Support, Remove and Install  

Notice: 

The following describes removal when the hydraulic or refrigerant system is closed.  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove ribbed V-belt - see operation "Ribbed V-belt, Remove and Install". Insert retaining pin in ribbed V-belt tension roller.  

Remove fastening bolts (1) and (2) from power steering pump. Suspend power steering pump at suitable point.   Detach wiring harness plug (4) from AC compressor.   Remove front fastening bolts (3) from air-conditioning system compressor. Remove fastening bolts (6) from auxiliaries bearer and cylinder block. Remove rear fastening bolts (5) from air-conditioning compressor and remove holder - note different bolt lengths.   Set AC compressor on front axle body.

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E".  

Notice: 

When lowering front axle body, ensure that the refrigerant lines are not under tension - support or suspend AC compressor.  

Remove fastening bolts (1) from ribbed V-belt tension roller and remove ribbed V-belt tension roller.

Disconnect auxiliaries bearer from cylinder block and remove downwards..     Install, Connect    Install auxiliaries bearer on cylinder block - tightening torque 35 Nm. Install ribbed V-belt tension roller on auxiliaries bearer - tightening torque 20 Nm.

  Install, Connect   

Install front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E".  

Install holder with rear fastening bolts (5) on air-conditioning system compressor - tightening torque 35 Nm. Note different bolt lengths. Install holder with fastening bolts (6) on auxiliaries bearer and cylinder block - tightening torque 35 Nm. Install front fastening bolts (3) on air-conditioning system compressor - tightening torque 35 Nm.   Connect wiring harness plug (4) to AC compressor.   Install power steering pump by means of fastening bolts (1) and (2) - tightening torque 30 Nm.   Install ribbed V-belt - see operation "Ribbed V-belt, Remove and Install". Remove retaining pin from ribbed V-belt tension roller.
