Timing, check(1.4/1.6 ltr engine except for 16 LZ2) > < Oil temperature, measure

Oil Pressure, Check  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from oil pressure switch, remove oil pressure switch (2) - place collecting basin underneath.  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Check oil pressure with KM-498-B (3) and KM-135 (4). The oil pressure should be approx. 150 kPa (1.5 bar) at idling speed and oil temperature ≥ 80 ° C.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install oil pressure switch at oil pump.  

1.4 / 1.6 Ltr. Engine Except 16 LZ2:  

Tightening torque 30 Nm/22 lbf. ft.  

1.8 / 2.0 Ltr. Engine and 16 LZ2:  

Tightening torque 40 Nm/29.5 lbf. ft.  

 

Connect wiring harness plug to oil pressure switch. Check engine oil level and, if necessary, correct.
