Timing, Check (1.8 / 2.0 Ltr. Engines as of MY '93 and 16 LZ2)
Remove, Disconnect
Remove front toothed belt cover - see operation "Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (1.8 / 2.0 Ltr. Engines and 16 LZ2)".
Inspect
At the fastening bolt of the toothed belt drive gear, turn crankshaft in engine rotation direction to mark (2). Simultaneously, notch (1) on camshaft pulley must align with mark on rear toothed belt cover. Turn crankshaft slowly and smoothly.
If timing is not correctly adjusted - see operation "Timing, Adjust (1.8 / 2.0 Ltr. Engines as of MY '93 and 16 LZ2)"
Install, Connect
Install front toothed belt cover - see operation "Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (1.8 / 2.0 Ltr. Engines and 16 LZ2)".
Remove, Disconnect 
Inspect 
Install, Connect
