THROTTLE POSIT. SENSOR VOLTAGE HIGH

For AF 14/20 automatic transmission with 16 SV, 18 SV engines (EI Plus control unit) or C 20 NE, 20 NE engines (Motronic ML 4.1; Model Year '89); See trouble code 76

·   Throttle valve potentiometer voltage greater than 4.6 V

     (short circuit to battery voltage)

·   With ignition ON the fault is not recognized

·   After starting the engine, the fault is immediately recognized

If trouble code 21 was recognized, shifting can still be made manually (emergency program) to the following gears at the individual driving speeds:

"Driving stage" (gear): "D" (4), "3" (3), "2" (3), "1" (1)
