For AF 14/20 automatic transmission with 16 SV, 18 SV engines (EI Plus control unit) or C 20 NE, 20 NE engines (Motronic ML 4.1; Model Year '89); See trouble code 76

·  Throttle valve potentiometer voltage greater than 4.6 V (short circuit to battery voltage)

·  With ignition ON the fault is not recognized

·  After starting the engine , the fault is immediately recognized

If trouble code 21 was recognized, the following gears are still shifted in the following driving stages

(emergency program):

"Driving stage" (gear): "D" (4), "3" (3), "2" (3), "1" (1)
