Fluid Cooler Lines, Connecting Hose and/or Seals, Replace For AF 13 and AF 20 with quick release connections (transmission side):
 Remove, Disconnect Lever off retaining clip (2) from quick release connection (1) using small screwdriver. Fluid cooler lines from connecting socket (3). Fluid escapes - close openings with KM-924. |

With AF 13 and AF 20 without quick release connections: fluid cooling lines (2) from fluid cooler or transmission. Loosen connecting hoses at the hose clamps (1) and disconnect - fluid escapes. Replace seal rings. Illus. D 0525 shows AF 20. Following illus. E 6062 shows AF 13. |

 Important! Note installation position of fluid cooler lines, so that the connecting hoses can be installed without kinking or twisting. Allow for tilting motion of engine.
 Tighten (Torque) Fluid cooler lines (1) with new seal rings to fluid cooler or transmission - 22 Nm/16 lbf. ft., do not turn too much - cooler housing is made of plastic. Hose clamps (2) to connecting hoses - 1.2 Nm/0.9 lbf. ft., align without kinking and twisting. With AF 13 and AF 20 with quick release connections (transmission side):

Connect fluid cooler lines to connecting sockets (3) and secure with retaining clip (2) to quick release connection (1).
 Inspect All transmissions: Check transmission fluid level - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check". |
