Axle Shaft Seal Rings, Replace
 Remove, Disconnect Ground cable from battery, front wheels, retaining springs from castellated nut on steering knuckle |

Castellated nut from swivel joint, swivel joint from steering knuckle, with KM-507-C. | 
|
Remove, Disconnect Axle shaft from transmission:

Seal ring from left side of transmission - MKM-557 or MKM-557-A. |

Seal ring from right side of transmission - installing lever
 Important! Do not damage seating surface of seal ring on transmission. | 
|
 Install, Connect Drive in new seal rings flush - KM-519. If necessary push aside left spring strut. Axle shafts
 Tighten (Torque) Castellated nut to swivel joint - 70 Nm/52 lbf. ft. (new retaining spring). Front wheels - 110 Nm/81 lbf. ft. Connect battery.
 Inspect Transmission fluid level - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check". |
