Housing Parts and/or Gasket, Replace (only AF 20)
 Remove, Disconnect Remove transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install". Drain transmission fluid. Drain bolt (1), at right housing bottom side. |

 Install, Connect KM-694-A (1) at transmission, place assembly on bracket KM-113-2 (2) and lock horizontally. |

Remove, Disconnect Converter - fluid escapes. When replacing main housing and/or auxiliary housing - section "Transmission, Overhaul", but without disassembling assemblies. Fix transmission horizontally using KM-113-2 (auxiliary housing points upwards), as during separation of housing parts assemblies are freed and can fall out. |

15 bolts of auxiliary housing from main housing (1) - separate housing parts, if necessary using plastic hammer. Fluid screen (3), fluid retaining plate from auxiliary housing (3 bolts, D 6679/1).
 Clean Sealing surfaces of housing parts, fluid screen, 3 magnets behind fluid retaining plate. Following this blow parts dry. |

 Tighten (Torque) Fluid baffle plate to auxiliary housing (1) - 6 Nm/ 4.5 lbf. ft. Oil strainer to main housing - 6 Nm/ 4.5 lbf. ft. |

Auxiliary housing to main housing - 30 Nm/ 22 lbf. ft. (15 bolts), coat sealing surface with sealing compound, note centring pin.
Install, Connect Converter - ensure correct engagement in the fluid pump shaft. Install transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install". Fill with transmission fluid - filling quantity: Technical Data. Check for leaks. |
