Important Directions for Work on the Transmission
With manual transmission, the transmission fluid level may lie up to 20 mm below the checking aperture, depending on the version. If the transmission fluid level is checked or corrected in Aftersales, filling may be done until fluid escapes through aperture, in order to simplify the operation.

Remove the underbody protection cover for work which must be carried out from the underside of the vehicle. On re-installation the tightening torque must not exceed 20 Nm.
