Secondary air switchover valve, remove and install (X16XEL up to MY '96 1/2) > < Air injection reactor pump air filter, replace (X16XEL)

Damping Ring, Secondary Air Pump, Replace  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove secondary air pump - see operation "Secondary Air Pump, Remove and Install".  

Mark installation position of damping ring. Remove fastening nuts (1) and remove secondary air pump damping ring (2) with protective plate (3).  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Attach secondary air pump damping ring with protective plate and fastening bolts to secondary air pump assembly - note installation position - 10 Nm/  
7 lbf. ft.  

Install secondary air pump - see operation "Secondary Air Pump, Remove and Install".
