General Instructions:
The following applies for all mirror types:
Disengage mirror joint from mirror casing from the rear by
pressing with hand. Remove complete as specified in Service Instructions.
When prising out mirror face with plastic wedge, proceed
carefully. When inserting, dip slip springs precisely into frame, press on
mirror face at the centre.
Carefully disengage lugs or dips from casing and
bolt - on base to avoid damage. The procedures for disassembling the
individual mirror types are described below.

To avoid installing the incorrect type, note that the
mirror for Model 53 - B cannot be used for any other model.

Prise out mirror face with plastic or wooden
wedge (1).
Disengage internal clip by turning with
screwdriver (2).
Remove casing (3).
Remove joint shackle (4).

Prise off mirror face with plastic or wooden
wedge (1).
Disconnect heating (2).
Disengage internal clip by turning with
screwdriver (3).

Loosen screws for servo motor (5).
Remove cable.

Prise out mirror face with plastic or wooden
wedge (1).
Disconnect mirror heating (2).
Detach casing with screwdriver (3).
Note:
To avoid damage, always press clips in direction of arrow.
Remove casing.
Loosen bolts and remove motor (4).
Disconnect cable terminal from rear side of motor (5).
Press together terminal on bolt - on base.
Remove cable.

Motor, Replace (Japan Version):
Prise out mirror face (1), do not bend spring
clips (2).
Disconnect plug from heating (3).
Drive out axis pin from below with drift (3 mm /
0.12 in) (4).
Now open joint further.
Drive out second axis pin.
Loosen bolt and remove casing (5).
Prise off panelling on door side with screwdriver. Do not
damage clips.
Detach cable from anchorage on bolt - on base.
Loosen bolts for servo motor.
