Condition:
The application of a new sealant for the engines listed is described in the current Service Instructions or by the Technical Information Bulletins. The Part/ Cat. No. for the "silicone sealing compound" is only partially specified in the Service Instructions under the summary "Sealants, Lubricants and Locking Compounds. Likewise, only the sealant used for the V6 engines is listed in the Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC).

The silicone sealing compound must be used for particular operations. The use of alternative products is not permitted.
